More Details About Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Uncovered
While lots of people are excited about the upcoming WindWaker HD, there’s not a lot of talk on Link’s other big adventure, A Link Between Worlds, for the 3DS. So, how about we uncover some details?
The new game in the series is a direct sequel to fan-favorite “Zelda: A Link To The Past” (finally! A new title that’s not gonna make the timeline more complicated!), and is called Legend of Zelda: Kamigami No Triforce in Japan (Triforce of the Gods), and Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds in the western world. The game reuses some art, map and style from the classic SNES game from 1991, but with all the power of current-gen portables, which makes the game look updated for the new generation while the new puzzles and story gives older gamers an excuse to come back.
The game, while it will use a classic Zelda top-down perspective, will also make use of cutscenes to tell the story, and cinematic angles. Also, apparently Link will be carrying a new bracelet that wasn’t there in the original artwork which is somehow tied to his new skills, exclusive to this game. Looking forward to play it? We know we are.
